Think of a song that you love and write a story based on the title, a line, or a word within the lyrics.

MEMOIR

Make a list of songs you remember from your childhood. Perhaps find a playlist from the time on digital music services or YouTube. Pick a favorite song and write about the first time you remember hearing it.

NONFICTION

Write a post about where people can watch or participate in open mic events in and around your hometown.
